This blog is all about my life with my hubby of 40 years, my kids and grand kids.

ThankFully
I am truly thankful that I wake up every day. I still have lots of difficulties walking and I will for the rest of my life as that is what happens when your in a car accident.
Speaking of car accident this year marks the 4th year since it happened. And we are finally settling. We took 20,000. Now I only get 1/3 of that because of course the insurance company has to be paid back and of course the lawyer needs his cut. It sure doesn't seem fair that I only get 1/3 of that money when I'm the one who suffered.
Now here's the thing that really bothers me.....Here in MN there is a No Fault Law. You can sue up to 50,000. Now I tried to get more than the 20,000 but the adjuster said NO because I went to physical therapy to much for a "soft tissue injury". But does this adjuster realise that I was sent back to physical therapy because I was having trouble standing and walking? Because I was falling on my face for no reason? Because I cant stand at the stove and make a dinner? or load the dishwasher? or even do a small sink load of dishes? NOPE I guess he don't really care! and my lawyer didn't seem to really want to work for me either. We wanted to go to court and really push for that 50,000 but as the lawyer explained even if I won that 50,000 I would end up with less than what I'm getting with the guarantee 20,000. I say you should have worked harder for me and then maybe what I pay you would have been worth what I do or do not get. So either way I got crapped on. Because not only do I NOT get enough money for future doctor appointments which by the way the doctors are now talking about surgery on my back because my feet are curling at the edges and I seem to have lost control so they think there is a nerve being pinched that affects my feet(Surprise.....NOT) So that will all come out of my pocket, I still have trouble walking....lets put it this way I REALLY CAN'T! my legs start to shake if I walk to much or basically to far and next thing I know Im on the ground. I rarely leave the house because I get embarassed when my legs give out and I'm on the floor. Although Mr Gab has been coaxing me out to dinner once a week. I use a scooter when I grocery shop but if I don't have someone else with me to get stuff I can't reach, pack the grocery bags and load the car then its useless. So I usually leave the shopping to Mr Gab. On the other hand since I can't even cook a meal, lots of times we don't eat or we have sandwiches or maybe order in. Either way this SUCKS BIG TIME!
I still am trying to figure out how the adjuster thinks a soft tissue injury is something you can say well Im sorry but you've gone to physical therapy too much so I am not going to reimburse you? I thought you were suppose to go to physical therapy to get better? Ah well I guess they just want to save money and they will screw the person who needs it the most..........funny thing.........I follow the law and get hurt.....she breaks the law and gets what? I wonder if she ever feels guilty for running that red light? I wonder if I went to her house and showed her what she did to me by running that red light if she would feel bad then? Of course even if I did it wont change a thing. Might make me feel better but it wont help me walk!

PRAYING
Cousin Robin's husband in hospital.......he is fighting an infection!!!!!
OMG all this infection....I still have infection in my mouth where they pulled the tooth. I finished meds yesterday. I intended to call dentist today but we had some other crap going on here.
I AM PRAYING ALL MY BLOGGER FRIENDS ON THE EAST COAST ARE STAYING SAFE!
terrible storm going through......
what the heck is going on? this year it seems as if we are being bomb barded with stuff. I even heard this winter will be one of the worst in years!
still dealing with stupid people on our house.......looks like we are gonna loose it after all! :(
I really just give up.................I told Mr Gab that if he can work it to work only 3 or 4 days a week I would like him to do it.
I enjoy having him home. I know we still need money to live but if he can do something else so that hes home more I'd rather he do that. Still not sure what to do for medical or dental insurance but we gotta do something else because Holiday is getting to much for both of us. More Mr Gab than me but it filters down to me as well.
well I guess thats the updates for now.

I'm a little worried
She also said it doesn't look that great either. She is even worried.
Then finally Mr Gab called his mom today. One thing he learned was she is having her pace maker replaced next week. His sister kinda acted like it was a no big deal surgery. He told her any surgery is a big deal surgery but even more so for an older person. After all his mom is in her 80's.
I am so glad he got past all his anger and talked to her. If he hadn't he would have never forgiven himself.
I have been dealing with a stupid hole in my mouth that wont heal. And pain pills aren't helping it none. Do some scrapping......yeah ok maybe .....travel.......yes.....garage sales and open our own shop yeah I can do that. So ok we have a few ideas.
But first I have to get past the goings on with our son and my mother-in- law.

Prayers are needed
The first thing I learned on Monday was my mother-in-law has cancer and they are going to be doing surgery Nov 13th removing a large mass. I really love my mother in law and this broke my heart. I was hoping to be in Florida this year to spend more time with her but we just can't seem to move forwards.
Mr Gab, was so upset that he went around ranting and raving about things from the past that really no longer was important but because this was something (last thing) he expected he had to figure out a way to blame her. He's mad at himself of course but he didn't want to admit that.
On Tues. we learned our oldest son who had sliced his fingers down to the bone had infection in his hand and needed to be hospitalised. So I was freaking out about that is he gonna lose his hand because he didn't follow directions? And of course he wasn't letting me in on anything so all I could do was wonder and read some of his post of Facebook. I finally got him to tell me (hopefully truthfully) that his hand is ok they might have to open it and drain it (Ick) and right now they are forcing lots of antibiotic's in. Now I happen to know a little about infections because Mr Gab had an infection in his knee and I watched it move fast up his leg. So fast that they were scared (at the hospital no less) and they forced some antibiotic's fast into his system to try to head it off. After it was all safe they told us the antibiotic that they used usually is dripped slowly that that sized bag takes two hours to go in. They put 2 of those bags in in 30 mins. that's how scared they were.
So I really hope our son isn't hiding any thing from me. "sigh" Please pray for them both!
On to the good stuff.........
I finally got the link over there on the right side for Jenerally Speaking to work! So now you can click on it and go right to her Blog!!!!!
And I suggest that you go over and visit her while she is doing her Halloween "nail" contest. Oh heck even after the contest visit because this is one talented lady with doing nails! SO far she has blown me away. When I get my nails done I usually stick with a very light pink color something that doesn't stand out much.......BUT HER NAILS ARE SO GOOD SHE MAKES ME WANT TO HAVE MINE DONE JUST LIKE THAT TO SHOW THEM OFF! So go check out her page and see what she has come up with I will guarantee that you wont be disappointed.

Not a techie
she also can do nails! And get this SHE HAS NEVER GONE TO SCHOOL FOR IT!
That's right never! and SHE ROCKS AT IT. Now Ive tried unsuccessfully to add her to my links on the side bar only to get just her name but not her web site.
I'm gonna type it here to see if it will come up for ya because you really really need to see the work she does. IT IS AMAZING.
and yeah she is my daughter's friend and yeah I like her alot but that is not why I like them I am really truly amazed at what she can put on nails. she makes her the nails look like art. You know the kind where you go to a gallery and walk around looking at pictures! Yeah they are that good. One she did was of candy corn. Now imagine this if you can you glance at these candy corn and think oh cool I'll have some then look again to realise they are some ones finger nails all painted up. That is how good they are. And she is doing a contest with some other gals and these other gals are good as well but ya know Jenn's nail's POP thats the only way I can explain it they stand out and are so cute! Any ways enough of that bragging hehe let me give you that link see i you can pop over and look for yourself and then while your there check out some of the other nails being shown off! All I can say is every one is very talented and I want mine done!
Well I cant seem to add so try www.JenerallySpeaking.com

OCT 16th- HAPPY BIRTHDAY BOYS
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU
HAPPY BIRTHDAY DEAR JACK JR
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TOOOOOOOOOO YOOOOOOUUUUUUUU!
and many more.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU
HAPPY BIRTHDAY DEAR TIMOTHY
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TOOOOOOOOOO YOOOOOOOOUUUUUUUU!
and many more
And so today is the day. Oct 16th!
On this day in 1974 our oldest son Jack Jr was born. Our first born baby. Our son.
Ah what a day.
It started out bad and got worse.
The night before he was born I had made gizzards. Now I don't like gizzards But Mr Gab does. So I made them for him. As we sat there he says try just one for me please. SO I tried one. I burped that thing up all night it made me sick. The next morning I was still not feeling well and I was now having bad pains. We decided to go into the hospital. They tell me I'm in labor. So ok. Thats great a little earlier than the due date they had given me but I'm not complaining.
They were hooking me up checking me and then the nurse says OMG. She rushes out of the room and soon her and the doctor come back in. The doctor prods and pokes and listens and then says "ok young lady we are going do an ultra sound to see just how this baby is sitting." I go ok sure.
So they do the Ultra sound then come back and say ok well there is good news and bad news.
So now Im freaking bad news? Bad news no one wants to hear bad news when they are giving birth to their first born.
" The good news is the baby is trying to get out just above your left leg so we are going have to pull the baby back into place to be born." WHEW not that I really knew what the hell they were talking about but ok.
"Now the bad news" I wait " we also did the altra sound because we kept hearing what we thought was two heart beats" TWO OMG Now I'm freaking two, ......two babies? UGH I've only got stuff for one.
"But after doing the ultra sound we seen just one baby and he has hic cups. So its just one baby"
Oh Oh ok one ok thats better I didnt have a name for two babies.
I mean I wasnt even thinking straight. Finally after all day labor I finally have a baby.
Now I dont remember much. But Mr Gab says I was swearing a blue streak. And some of the nuns left the room because I was so bad.
I don't even remember it. Then comes the recovery room. Im in and out. I lost a lot of blood. They have to give me a blood transfusion. I over hear two nurses talking. One says She wanted that baby boy so badly. the other goes Yeah I dont know how they are going to explain it to her that it has died.
I'm hearing this and thinking they are talking about me. Now I freak I wanna see my baby. They dont want to bring me my baby. I say bring me my god damn baby NOW.
So they got and get him and show me the numbers match show me that he has all his little boy parts. ok so Im calm and can go back to sleep.
I later learned a lady was in a car accident and she had lost her baby that they had tried for years to get pregnant. I felt really bad for her. But I also knew those nurses should never been talking in front of me.
My next 3 days at the hospital I had an Iv in one arm and a blood transfusion in the other. I couldnt even hold my baby. In fact I had to give them permission to bottle feed my baby because I had so much drugs in my system I couldnt breast feed. Ah the day I went home was the best day of all. I finally got to hold my baby and I wouldnt put him down for NOTHING!
Oct 16th 1978
I am now expecting our 3rd baby. we have one son and one daughter. I thought our family was done but well I guess we were not.
We started out the day I baked our Oldest son his birthday cake.....he is 4 today. It is sitting on the stove cooling before I frost it. Mr Gab comes home from work and we go shopping. This is the year that a lot of the little kids are picking out their own birthday presents. So we are gonna let Jj pick out his own present. Baby Tonya is 18 months old and Im due in a week.
We are in the store and Jj is looking over all the toys. Im not feeling to good. In fact Im having pains in my back. All of a sudden my water breaks and I scream OMG we gotta go NOW.
So we yell at Jj to just grab something we gotta go now. We dropped the kids at our babysitters and go to the hospital. When we get there they look at my record and see two births two blood transfusions so now they want to try blood plasma before having the baby. I say ok lets try it. After all I would like to be able to hold one of my kids right after they are born. So they do the Blood plasma first.
I pray this baby goes past midnight so that he or she is not born on the same day as our oldest son. Please I ask god please.
My prayers were not answered. Our youngest son Timothy was born the same day as his older brother just 4 years later.
Well ok now how many big brothers can say they got a baby brother for a present?
But this birth didn't go as easy as they expected either. Oh yes I did get to hold this baby right after he was born. I had the IV but this time I did not have a blood transfusion in my other arm.
On the night before I was to go home. I went to the bathroom and almost fell. In fact I didnt make it back to the bed. They came in checked me and ran out. Soon 5 doctors were in my room and they were all checking me. My legs were hot and swollen. They sent me for test. I had massive blood clots in both my legs but my right was worse than my left. Now I cant get out of bed PERIOD. and going home was a NO WAY IN HELL. I ended up being in the hospital for 15 days total. and then when they sent me home they really didnt want to. Timothy ended up being bottle feed because mom couldnt do what she was suppose to do. He was the oldest baby in the nursery by the time we left. and he was spoiled by the nurses. By the time we got home I had to hire some one to help me and holding baby Timothy was on a timed bases.
Happy Birthday boys. You made each of your birth days intersting for me. And all through the years we've had many more ups and downs but I guess thats what make life life right? LOL
I love you both.

Do we need new cars? yes yes we do!
These are our cars.......One picture is of both cars together can you see the rust? Then I took one of where it has finally made it through the back door (yes that is a hole all the way through) where the grandkids get in and every now and again they like to stick their fingers in the hole. The one of the back of the pickup THE BIG HOLE is just an indication of how bad it is and how we really dont dare put anything in the back. The grandkids love to climb in and we are forever yelling NO! LOL we really want newer cars after all these are from the 1900's! I love saying that now it makes it sound like they are reallllllly old! Mr Gab tells me I gotta say they are from the 1990's . But that doesnt sound old at all.

I TOTALLY LOVE MY NEW PRODUCT.
BUT MY DAUGHTER'S FRIEND JENNY WAS DOING THIS AND SHE SUGGESTED I TRY IT AS WELL.
SHE WAS TELLING ME THAT THE PRODUCTS WERE ALL NATURAL.
SO OK. I THOUGHT I WOULD SIGN UP AND PROBABLY NOT BE PICKED.
WELL TO MY SURPRISE I WAS CHOSEN TO DO A TEST PRODUCT.
SO IT CAME IN THE MAIL THE OTHER DAY AND LOW AND BEHOLD I WAS IN LOVE FROM THE MINUTE I OPENED THE PACKAGE.
IT SMELLED WONDERFUL.......I TOOK A BIG SNIFF..........AND WAITED.........................NOTHING NO SNEEZING NO EYES WATERING AND NO NOSE PLUGGING UP SO THAT I CAN'T BREATH! OK 1 THING DOWN MANY TO GO.
SO I PICKED A VERY SMALL SPOT ON MY LEG BY MY KNEE AND I SPREAD A LITTLE ON MY SKIN. AND I WAITED...............................NOTHING AGAIN...............NO RED SPOTS NO ITCHING AND NO RASH.
OK SO NOW I'M LIKE YAY I CAN USE THIS STUFF AND ITS NOT BOTHERING ME ................SO I PICKED A BIGGER SPOT AND PUT ALOT ON....................................NOTHING...............AND MY SKIN FELT GREAT ITS NOT GREASY ITS NOT OILY ITS WONDERFUL.
SO NOW I KNOW I CAN USE THIS PRODUCT. AND I DONT HAVE ANY PROBLEMS LIKE I DO WITH MOST EVERY THING I BUY IN A STORE.
LET ME TELL YOU THAT IS SUCH A RELIEF. BECAUSE I HAVE TO BE VERY CAREFUL BUYING STUFF IN THE STORES. I NEVER HAD THIS PROBLEM BEFORE BUT AS I GOT OLDER AND THE MORE MEDS I TAKE THE MORE I SEEM TO HAVE PROBLEMS WITH SMELLS AND FRAGRANCES. ONE OF MY BIGGEST PROBLEMS HAS BEEN WITH SHAMPOOS NOTHING LIKE BUYING SOMETHING THEN ITCHING SO BADLY THAT YOUR HEAD BLEEDS THEN YOU GO TO GET YOUR HAIR CUT AND THEY SEE ALL THESE SCABS AND WONDER WHAT THE HELL............IM FOREVER CHANGING SHAMPOOS I USE ONE FOR MAYBE A MONTH THEN GOTTA CHANGE AGAIN...SOME TIMES I DONT EVEN GET TO USE IT THAT LONG. YOU WILL SEE ME A STORE SMELLING STUFF BEFORE BUYING AND LOTS OF TIMES IM PUTTING A SMALL AMOUNT OF IT ON MY SKIN TO SEE IF I HAVE ANY KIND OF REACTION. THANK GOD FOR SAMPLES BUT SOMETIMES EVEN THOSE I HAVE TO OPEN TO SMELL AND TRY I WILL HAVE TO GET AN EMPLOYEE ALOT OF TIMES TO HELP ME BECAUSE MOST ARE SEALED AND MOST TIMES I CANT BUY IT AFTER I TRY IT. SO THIS MAKES ME HAPPY. GO CHECK THEM OUT:

PUPPIES
and if I could I would buy every puppy I see.........but you know I would probably go broke and then poor puppies would have to go away.
But I do love puppies and I do want one! and here is the one I want....Her name is Diamond! and just like a Diamond she is precious.
I go to : http://www.scottspuppypalace.com/ alot to look at puppies. I also enter their contest to win things.
I went today and found Tux....OMG he is soooooooo cute!
they also have other puppies, not just Yorkies......but I'm looking for a Yorkie as my next dog.
But now my biggest problem is if I could today which one would I choose? Diamond or Tux? Well let me tell you if I had the money right now today I would take them both! After all Diamond would need a play mate and who better to fill that position than Tux?
If you are looking for a little friend to join your household take a look at: http://www.scottspuppypalace.com/
because I know you'll fall in love just like I did......Oh and let them know I sent ya will ya!? Thanks

HAPPY OH SO HAPPYn
I THINK- YES I THINK...OH NO THATS NOT GOOD I SHOULD NEVER THINK..............
BUT
I THINK
THIS
IS
GOOD!!!!!!
YES...IT IS GOOD!!!!!!! Well it started yesterday when mail came......but we forgot the mail lol cause we went to bed around 5pm and basically slept through the night...now that's what I call tired. So today I'm paying bills and these are ones that I actually have to write out a check and mail off to the people. Oldest grandson T.J. went to put bills in mail box and seen there was mail in there so gave it to me. After I did a quick run through I passed some over to Mr Gab. He open one tossed it and made a comment about here we go again.
then he opens second one from same company and goes "OH MY GOD" and then "OH MY GOD" and then "OH MY GOD" and so I'm like "what" then I'm like "WHAT WILL YA TELL ME?" So then he starts in........
it seems that the company that now owns our mortgage has reviewed our paperwork seen how little we actually make and has now adjusted a payment we can possibly make. So instead of us loosing our home we can now save it! Our daughter will be helping us.

BUMMED
My grandson wanted to go to a friends the other night I wanted him to stay home as I was feeling dizzy. Just in case when I got up in middle of night if I fell he would be here. In the end here's what I told him.....go ahead and go I would stay in bed so that way I wouldnt fall.
Then he said but what if........And Im like "Look even if your home in your bedroom sleeping and I'm in my bedroom sleeping and I die there is nothing your gonna be able to do so you might as well go to your friends"
After he cried some more he finally went to his friends house.
Thing is that is so true......he can be right in same room with me but if hes sleeping and I die he wont be able to do anything about it. If its my time its my time. Thing is I havent done some of the things I want to yet.
On a much happier note two of my blogger friends got engaged! Congrats to Tony and Lori! May you have many happy years together!

Olympics
I was talking about Tv shows on another bloggers blog. I hate reality shows and how I think most of them are fake. I could do a better job than some of those people. I watched ONE episode of Bridezilla. And that was enough for me. Whine cry bitch OMG what I could teach those little bitches. I never had a wedding I never had a wedding dress and I never had a wedding cake. I was however married in a church by a minister. with my mom my best girlfriend while my hubby had his cousin at his side. My dad wouldnt even take the time off from work. My youngest sister however did get the big wedding ! So dont talk to me about unfair any thing.AND I DID NOT HAVE A HUGH ASS DIAMOND RING! I had a plain gold band. I did not get a diamond ring till we had been married about 30 years. So I do not like those reality tv shows because they dont even look real.
Sigh....yes Im done complaining

WHEN DO WE START?
Here is one of the just do it we would do should we have no issues with moneyhttp://www.mhsrv.com/2010-tiffin-allegro-bus-bath-12-w4-slides-used-rv-for-sale-used-diesel-pusher-tx-i595450.
I would get this one because it has a bath and 1/2 in it. For those times when Mr Gab has to go and so do I. Then I do not have to yell "get out I gotta go"!
One of the other things I was thinking was getting one of these:http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Honda-Gold-Wing-1989-HONDA-goldwing-TRIKE-TRAILER-COMBO-very-very-nice-/150861254181?pt=US_motorcycles&hash=item2320080e25#ht_1791wt_1099.
Yeah if my back could handle it!!!!!
Then I was thinking of doing this:http://www.ebay.com/itm/Concession-Trailer-EXCELLENT-CONDITION-/280924514012?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item416867e6dc
Yeah go to fairs and flea markets and sell some of our junk and then sell them some thing to drink/eat all at the same time.
Now this one could be interesting to do. Find one of these concession stands and go to flea markets and sell all the junk we've collected over the 38 yrs weve been married then sell them some Ice cold drinks and maybe home made sloppy joes! Yeah now that is something I could do. And make money doing it. My recipe for Sloppy joes could make about 20 to 30 and sell them at oh what 2.50 a piece? or more? yeah I could make money. and when you have them in a slow cooker to keep warm well there ya go you dont need much room and if you made some ahead and freeze it then bring it with and that thaws while you sell first batch you have more to just keep going........Yeah yeah I think that is something I could do. BUT the thing is to get started. I gotta push Mr Gab a little harder and Oh figure out where the money is gonna come from to start this little adventure.

TURN BACK THE CLOCK PLEASE
Why you say.....well the 1950's seem to be the safest times. There didnt seem to be as much bad stuff back in the 50's as now. I mean think about it......as a kid I ran around out side without my mom worring that I would be snatched. We didn't lock our doors and most of our neighbors walked right in with out so much as knocking first. They opened the door Yoo Hoo 'd asked if any one was home and walked in.
Now Kids are afraid to go to Post Offices, Malls, Airports, School, Grocery Stores and Now the Movies. Soon they will be afraid to go to the Doctors, Dentists, Church(which in some cases they already are afraid ...to be molestered)Hospitals and well you get the picture. One girl was at her girlfriends house when the girlfriends dad snatched them both. When did it become some place to be afraid of? I fear for my grandchildren. I don't have a clue if this can be changed in time. Someone turn back the clock please...show the children of today that the world doesnt have to be a scary place.
I blame the video games.

Well I just dont know
I know the answer really.
BUT DAMMIT when you tell them and tell them and they still don't listen you just want to throttle them!!!!!
I know they have to learn the lessons of life them selves But why in the hell when they ask you what to do and you tell them they do the opposite, then come crying to you when it went the way you knew it would? Kids!!!! I would give them away but they are full grown adults even though they don't always act it!

Going back
Do wishes ever come true?
So if we do sell say the farm to rebuild the house at least what I want for a house is agreeable to Mr Gab. I am not changing much from the old house to the new rebuilt house.I want the back porch and kitchen and dining room to be the same. BUT instead of the office and bathroom and little bedroom well that's where the change comes in. I want to take where the little bedroom is and make that all into master closet and master bath room. Where the bathroom is I want to just have a half bath. and where the office is well that's where the guest bedroom will be. Then I want to add a upstairs area with a bath and bedroom. I also want a full basement under the house instead of a crawl space. and I WANT THE LAUNDRY ROOM TO BE EITHER IN THE KITCHEN OR BACK PORCH AND I WANT THE BACK PORCH HEATED!!!!
When our back porch was our laundry room before we had to have a heater on the floor out there to warm it up in the winter time. mainly so the Hot water heater didn't freeze. and it worked pretty well but there were some winters that even with that heater and me wearing boots out there to wash clothes it got cold lol.
ok ok I didn't wear boots it was slippers but hey you get the picture right? oh the good old days!
when they took off the screen door I had visions of kittens jumping through the top half where there was no screen (whole nother story) to get into the porch and cry for me to feed them. One of those kittens was Pumpkin. Another vision (which wasn't really a good one) was up at my father in laws house, he had the same kind of door and it slammed in the same manner making the same kinda "Bang" (which made me happy and I want Mr Gab to put that screen door back on the new house to which he answered no way in hell) Of us going in and out of his front porch and the screen door slamming kittens following us into the house (if they could get all the way into the house with out dad chasing them back out) Then came the tragedy......I went inside a kitten followed me and the door slammed before he got in and its back got broken. Oh the cries of that tiny kitten it will haunt me forever. Dad told Mr Gab's brother to take it out back and finish it off. I ran out into our tent trailer and fell onto the bed crying. That kitten was following me because I had been petting it and now its life was over. I was so upset. Our dog Lady crawled up onto the bed with me and laid there with me trying to cheer me up. She knew I was hurting. Mr Gab came back out to talk to me and said things happened it was just the way of life and it could have been any one who that kitten had followed. It didn't help much even though I knew it was true. But I was hoping to take that kitten home with us. I did "get" over it as best as you can in that situation and I did find a kitten to take home with us that weekend. But still it was a vision I had that day as they took off that screen door. Jeremy kept walking over to me saying why why would you tear down something where you have so many memories? I would look at him and say we don't have much of a choice now do we? So with all that in mind Mr Gab will probably be going with just the two older grandsons back to work more on the house. I just don't think I can take watching more of our memories flash through my head.

Miss Whitney Houston has passed
Too many of us—myself included—are guilty of making insensitive jokes about the demise of Whitney Houston, her frail frame, loss of one of pop's purest voices, and battle with drugs.
But none of us are laughing now.
On Saturday, Houston's publicist confirmed to the Associated Press that the award-winning "I Will Always Love You" singer died. She was 48. The timing of her death, the eve of the Grammys, the biggest music event of the year, makes the horrible news even more tragic. According to CNN, Houston was pronounced dead at 3:55 p.m. PT at the Beverly Hilton Hotel.
The Beverly Hilton is the venue for the music industry's most prestigious pre-Grammy party hosted by veteran executive Clive Davis, who discovered Houston.
In an industry flooded with novelty artists, who disappear after scoring one hit, Houston's longevity was unquestioned when she released her debut single, the ballad "You Give Good Love" in February 1985. The song's soothing opening ad-libs displayed her soulful roots while also celebrating her pop sensibilities.
Houston's sound was distinct, and clearly separated her from the funk-laden stylings of the era's other female R&B singers. Plus, she was a model who appeared in "Glamour" and "Cosmopolitan" magazines.
Houston's sound made sense when considering her pedigree. She was the perfect melding of the styles of her mother, gospel singer Cissy Houston; cousin, 1960s pop singer Dionne Warwick; and godmother, queen of soul Aretha Franklin.
Houston's self-titled debut album topped the charts and was certified diamond. Her career was impenetrable throughout the release of several follow up albums, 1987's "Whitney," 1990's "I'm Your Baby Tonight," and 1992's "The Bodyguard" soundtrack.
Houston's fans were concerned when she married R&B bad boy Bobby Brown in 1992, but they professed their happiness.
By the late 1990s, Houston's drug problems began to become tabloid fodder. In a 2002 interview with ABC's Diane Sawyer, Houston admitted to her struggles, but maintained that she was doing fine.
The public received its first real glimpse of Houston behind-the-scenes in 2004 when she appeared on Brown's reality series "Being Bobby Brown." The bad publicity move depicted Houston as profane, combative, and delusional, seemingly supporting the behavior of someone on drugs.
Among the saddest indications of Houston's fall was her 2009 comeback album, "I Look To You." While the album received positive reviews, her live performances signaled that the damage to her voice was beyond repair.
