HERE IT IS WHAT WE ALL HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR!

READY?

ARE YOU SURE?

OK! TWO THINGS......GOOD NEWS AND BAD NEWS WHICH DO YOU WANT FIRST?

BAD NEWS? YEAH I AGREE!

Ok bad news is that I gotta give up alot of foods. Including Chocolate,(Oh my gosh right before Halloween too how could they?) caffeine(no more pepsi for me)(or Mcdonalds iced coffee), fried foods, spicy foods, Some vegetables, some fruits, and the list goes on.

THE GOOD NEWS:
I won't need surgery.......well at least for now. He put me on stronger meds, told Mr Gab to raise our bed up by 10" and to stop eating the foods listed above. Then I'm to go back in 6 weeks and have another test done. From there he will do what ever needs to be done but he said surgery is the very last thing he will try. WHY?
Because its major surgery that could include removing a rib. The recovery time is 6 weeks! Understand that those 6 weeks are mostly in the hospital not at home. Because I hate hospitals already and really really don't want surgery I'm going with him. I will try anything else that he can give me before I do surgery. The surgery involves pulling the stomach down and wrapping it and putting it back into place. I didn't understand how or why removing a rib might be involved, but good grief lets not! So I will do what he says I will not eat or drink what I'm not suppose to eat or drink and I will take my new meds and I will follow directions for trying to lose weight as well because hunny I DONT WANT SURGERY!

So there ya have it. I have started taking the new meds aready tonight and I watched what I ate for dinner making sure that everything I put into my mouth was not on the list. I will be a good girl! I promise.

Follow the doctors directions of course! I don't want you to have surgery if you don't have to!

But this is not an easy fix! you are going to have to be strict with yourself!

I am here for you as always

Gab, I'm lucky that I didn't have to have this surgery either. Lucky for me, the gastric bypass surgery took care of all of it.

I'm sure that changing your diet will take care of your problem. Hope it does.

Any time you could avoid surgey it's the way to go.
I'd give it up for that, that's a small list in comparison.

Whew, that's good news, to me anyway. I don't eat chocolate, hell, I don't eat sweets at all. I don't miss it at all. The rest on your list? I could live without them too. Just don't take away my gin and I'll be fine. be strong and stay out of the operating room at all costs.
